Short, and worth reading rather than scrolling past. The section on academic integrity is the one that will actually affect how you use this, because it is the reason Eruvio will not write your assignment for you.

This page is written as a plain-English statement of what Eruvio actually does, rather than as a legal agreement, and the wording has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet. Every fact below is one the code enforces. If anything here does not match what you see, tell us at admin@eruvio.com.au.

What Eruvio is

  • Eruvio is a study tool for Queensland senior students, run alongside tutoring by Thomas Druve.
  • It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority.

Eruvio is a study tool, together with tutoring from Thomas Druve if you have arranged it. It is not a school and not a replacement for your teachers. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the QCAA, and QCAA syllabus material referred to in the product remains the QCAA's. We work to keep Eruvio accurate and available but we cannot promise it is always correct or always running.

Academic integrity

  • Eruvio holds itself to the same limits QCAA places on anyone helping with an Internal Assessment, including human tutors, under QCE handbook sections 8.1.3 and 8.2.3.
  • It will not write prose for you to submit, will not tell you what to put in each paragraph, will not produce your citations, and will not rewrite your sentences.
  • This is deliberate and it is the more useful product. In an authenticity interview you have to explain work you are claiming as your own. A student who submitted AI prose cannot. A student who has been pushed hard on their own work can.
  • Work you submit for assessment must be your own.

You may use Eruvio to learn, to practise and to get feedback. You may not submit anything it produces as your own work. On assessment that counts toward your results, Eruvio refuses to draft, rewrite or write for you: that limit is built into the product, not just written here, and it can produce a log of the help you had that you can hand to your teacher. Following your school's rules and the QCAA's rules is your responsibility. If you break them, that is a matter between you and your school.

Marks are estimates

  • See the automated marking section of the privacy policy. Nothing this product tells you about your performance is a QCAA result, and it should not be relied on as one.

Every mark in Eruvio is an estimate produced by software, and estimates are sometimes wrong. Do not rely on one for a decision that matters: talk to your teacher. We are not responsible for the consequences of treating an Eruvio mark as though it were a real result.

Accounts and age

  • If you are in Year 11 or below, a parent or guardian has to confirm your account before the AI features will work. They confirm it by following a link sent to their email address.
  • Accounts are for one person. Do not share your sign-in.

Eruvio is for students in Years 11 and 12. If you are under 18 we need a parent or guardian's email address, and if you are in Year 11 or below they must confirm your account before you can use it. One person per account. Keep your password to yourself: you are responsible for what happens on your account, and you should tell us straight away if you think somebody else has got into it.

Ending your account

  • You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. It removes your data across every table it appears in and it cannot be undone.

You can close your account whenever you like: ask, and we will close it. We may close your account if you break these terms, if you use Eruvio to harm someone, or if an agreed fee goes unpaid. If we close your account we will tell you why and give you a reasonable chance to take a copy of your work first, unless there is a safety reason not to.
